FAQ
What is Deals4Downloads.com?
Deals4Downloads.com helps you to track the best deals and prices on digital download games all over the internet.
We do not sell games but collect daily deals, trends, and news for download games from all major online shops and publishers. Every day, our editors search all major online shops like Direct2Drive, GamersGate, GOG, Impulse, Steam and others for new game releases and deals, and link to them on our site. We also publish shop reviews to help you find your way through the digital distribution jungle.
We want to help you find download games faster, safer and for a better price.
And best of all, it is completely FREE!
What's the catch?
I know, it sounds unbelievable but there is none. We don't take any money from you. We don't collect or sell any data. There are no hidden fees.
Do you sell games?
No. We only collect links to game deals in other shops.
So how do you make money then?
Even though it's mostly for fun, it still costs some money to run the servers and keep the deals rolling in. We get a small commission from some of the shops every time someone clicks on a deal and actually buys it in the shop. So if you want to support us, just click and buy. :) You pay the same as in the shop and at the same time help us to keep the page alive.
Why do I sometimes get errors when clicking on a deal?
Sometimes you might see a deal offer on Deals4Downloads but when you click on the shop link you get an error, or the price has not been reduced, or the price is listed in another currency and therefore more expensive than expected. So, WTF is going on? First of all, <disclaimer>all prices and currencies on Deals4Downloads are provided as is and the listed information may contain errors as well as inaccuracies due to regional and/or time zone differences - always double-check the price on the actual shop site itself before ordering</disclaimer>. Digital deals are a quick business. Online shops often change prices and availability without or on very short notice. We try to always stay on top but sometimes we also sleep:)
Also, sometimes deals are restricted to a certain region (e.g. US, Canada or Germany) and therefore may not be available for you. Sorry.
Where do you get all your deals from?
In case you were wondering here's a lost of some of the websites and partners we are working with. Destined to grow...
