Fresh air to the genre

RUSE is a great strategy game, with good graphics, challenging A.I. and a good story/campaign. The game itself is a WWII-themed RTS, but it has it's singularities. IRISZOOM engine is great, providing both good gameplay (no clumsy or confusing controls) and a great perspective of the battlefield, be it close-quarters or whole map-wide. By the way, you can switch from a "chessboard-like" view to close-quarters really fast, just by scrolling your mouse. Other great inovation of the game are the RUSES itself. RUSES are abilities that you can toggle on a chosen map area to mislead, confuse and decieve your enemy. Brute force will help you, but the real key is the good use of the RUSES. RTS fans can't miss this game.
